OPEN BASS TOURNAMENT

(boat number’s assigned by registration) Late entry fee of $25.00 morning of Tournament Mail completed entry forms and checks payable to KTBA to: Tim McFadden 314 Kattelville Rd Binghamton, NY 13901 Rules -"Double Shot" is two separate tournaments for the day. -Late entry fee of $25 will apply for registration the morning of tournament. -3 fish limit per tournament. -All live wells will be checked at beginning of EACH tournament and must be free of fish. -You must check in with a KTBA Staff Member after the first tournament to fish the second. You may not stay out on water to keep fishing. -Prize money will be distributed at the end of second tournament as follows: $50 per boat per tournament. 1st , 2nd , and 3rd - 50/30/20 format. Big bass will be $5 per boat per tournament. -Boat numbers will be assigned by registration and will leave in numerical order when called. -Boat flights may be necessary - and if used, they will be done by 15 minute increments (first flight 6am - 10am, second 6:15am - 10:15am etc.) -No more than 2 persons per boat. -No fishing within 100 yards of marina. -No fishing within 100 feet of another boat that is also fishing. -No live bait. -Nets are permitted. -Fish must be at least 12" (largemouth or smallmouth bass) to be weighed (closed mouth). Anyone trying to weigh in an illegal fish will result in disqualification from that tournament. -Dead fish penalty is .50 lb. per dead fish. -A .50lb penalty will be imposed for each minute a competitor is late. More than 15 min. late you will lose your total weight for that tournament. Tournament Director's time is the official time. -WEIGH-IN RULES FOR FIRST TOURNAMENT IS AS FOLLOWS - AS A BOAT CHECKS IN, DROP YOUR NON-BOATER PARTNER OFF AT LAUNCH DOCK WITH YOUR FISH TO BE WEIGHED. (IF YOU ARE FISHING ALONE YOU MAY DOCK YOUR BOAT TO BRING FISH UP TO SCALES.) KTBA OFFICIAL WILL GIVE THE PERSON WEIGHING FISH IN A TICKET OF THEIR FIRST TOURNAMENT WEIGHT AND WILL THEN BE RECORDED, THEN HAVE YOUR BOATER PARTNER PICK NON-BOATER BACK UP AT DOCK. PLEASE TRY TO USE A SINGLE FILE APPROACH UP TO DOCKS AND WAIT FOR SECOND TOURNAMENT TO BEGIN. LIVE WELLS WILL BE CHECKED AGAIN! -AFTER THE SECOND TOURNAMENT IS FINISHED YOU MAY TRAILER YOUR BOAT AND PROCEED TO WEIGH IN SCALES. AWARDS WILL BE DONE AT THE END OF THE SECOND TOURNAMENT WEIGH-IN. Safety rules -Captains rules and orders stand on the boat at all times. -Captain on the boat is responsible for everyone on board. -All boats will meet U.S Coast Guard rules for the boat. -No wake within 50 feet of a standing boat. -Life vest SHALL be worn at all times while the main combustion engine is running! Failure to do so will result in an immediate disqualification from tournament. |
